A few months ago I blogged about which catalogue items grabbed my eye.
The Wisteria Wishes bundle was one of them -so here’s my stunner of a card!

Let me talk you through how I used the Wisteria Wishes bundle to create this card
You will need the following to make the card:
- Basic white thick cardstock – cut 5½” x 8¼”- scored at 4 1/8″ (card base)
- Basic white thick cardstock -cut 5½” x 4 1/8″ (embossed)
- Fluid 100 water colour paper
- Wisteria Wishes Bundle (158860)
- Night of Navy Ink
- Highland Heather Ink
- Blackberry Bliss Ink
- Granny Apple Green Ink
- Blending Brushes
- Embossing folder
- Water colour brush
Now for how to make the wisteria wishes stunner card:
Emboss the basic white thick cardstock piece of your choice – I used a retired embossing folder
Die cut out the following pieces from your fluid 100 paper – 2x pieces of the “stake” for the vine, 4-5 leaves, 3 wisteria flowers.
Using night of navy ink and a blending brush -brush your stakes until they’re as dark as you want them.
Using night of navy is not as stark as black.
Now take your green ink and waterpainter – and paint the leaves as light or dark as you please.

Once you have painted as many as you think you’ll need – insert them into the gaps of the “stake” as seen in the photo above.
I went with this look, as this felt more natural to me.
Using your highland heather ink and waterpainter -repeat the process for the wisteria flowers.
I then used the blackberry bliss ink and a dauber to add some deeper colour onto the edges of the flowers.
The next thing I did was stamp out 1 set of wisteria flowers -which I die cut.
For this stamped image, I used both highland heather and blackberry bliss.
The next thing was to insert the flowers in amongst the leaves.
This is how wisteria grows in nature.
Once I was happy with the placement, I glued down the leaves and flowers.

The last thing was to stamp the sentiment.
I am going to give this card to a friend who is going through a very tough time – so this sentiment worked 100%.

I love how this card worked out.
