Many people ask me why I called my Stamping Business Stamp and Eat.
That’s a great question and I am always so pleased when I am asked that question.
So, kindly indulge me as I share my heart with you.
Stamp and Eat are both my passions
Before I started my Stamp and Eat business, I was already running a Nutritional Clinic.
This Clinic is owned by me and is based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Nutrition has been a love of mine for pretty much my entire life.
I have always been absolutely convinced of the role of food in either helping or hurting our health.
My focus as a registered Clinical Nutritionist is helping women over 40 with chronic pain and inflammation.
So, when I was mulling over what name I should give to my stamping business it made sense to bring nutrition into it.
And let’s be honest – most of our stampers enjoy good food along with our stamping!
So, Stamp and Eat was born
I started my Stamp and Eat business as an extension of my clinic work.
Sort of like therapy for some of my clients who I felt needed some time to do something for themselves.
Then it started to grow and word of mouth made me start classes.
And then 2 classes, and now 3 classes.
And it’s been a lot of fun mixing clinic work and stamping together.
Of course, the best combination of both of these loves of mine is displayed when we’re on retreat.
I know I keep going on and on about my retreats -but they’re probably the highlight of the year for me.
I had a vision more than 20 years ago of running retreats for women.
And it brings me SO MUCH joy to see a room full of women together.
Some of them arrive not knowing each other -and leave as new friends.
Some arrive carrying heavy burdens and they leave just a little lighter.
But the combination of stamping and eating together is a win-win for all of us.
So, why Stamp and Eat?
Because, if you’re a stamper -you’ll be eating at some point in your day.
And if you’re eating – you’re probably doing that and stamping too!!!
Seriously – if you haven’t yet booked your place and hopefully there is still space – book it now!

Happy crafting!
