If you read my blog from the other day -you might have some scraps leftover from your 1-sheet wonder card.
Why not use your scraps and create another awesome card?
In this blog, I’m using some of the scrap strips as well as stepping this card up a notch with Gilded Leafing.
I have to confess- this little gem has been around for a few years now…but I’ve never been brave enough to try it out.
So, last month I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and buy a tub.
Oh my word!!!
I’ve had SO MUCH fun playing with this product.
And why I was nervous about using it -I have no idea!
It’s so much easier than your normal embossing technique.
So, back to the scraps.
You’ll need to cut some cardstock, have at least 3 scrap strips, and I used the Cheerful Daisies bundle.
I also used Daffodil Delight and Basic white to die cut the flowers.
The other colours I used were Wild Wheat for the inside of the daisy and Copper Clay for the sentiment.

The gold ribbon was cut in half, and I pulled out the chord.
Then I jammed all the thread onto a glue dot that I’d stuck behind a petal.
I would suggest you watch the video below, where I go through all the details on putting this card together.
This card is aimed more at an avid card maker -so don’t feel overwhelmed if it looks out of your ability.
I’ve actually created a brand new Stamp like a Pro Online Tutorial series for brand new stampers!
If this is you, and all those words just overwhelm you -then you’ll really enjoy enrolling in this Tutorial.
I hope this post inspires you to look at your scraps in a whole new light and that you remember to use your scraps!
Happy crafting!
