I was looking for a sweet card the other day for a birthday card.
And to my dismay, all of my generic birthday cards were finished.
So, I had to get to work and create a birthday card in a hurry.
I like the concept of this card, because it’s not time consuming and you can whip out a batch of them in no time.
I CASE’d this card from my Colour Inkspiration crew colleague -Monica Formosa.
Her sentiment was different to the one I chose -so it’s not exactly the same:)
You may be wondering what pretty paper I used to create this sweet looking card.
Well, it’s the brand new Flight & Airy Designer series paper( 162977) that is now available to customers!!
Flight & Airy DSP is a Level 1 gift with purchase.
A minimum of $110 excl shipping will qualify you to choose this paper.
If you attended the January Jamboree Virtual party, you would’ve seen that I used this exact same sheet of paper to create my card in the Sale-a-Bration special offer we’re running.
The colours are soft and feminine and really set the scene for a very easy and sweet card.
I will be making a few of these in the next few days, as I need to replenish my birthday card stash – there are a lot of birthdays in January!!!
The circle was cut out using the Deckled Circles die, twine was the usual Linen Thread.
I used the sentiment from Artistically Inked and the gems were what I had on hand.
You can check out my other posts from last week using the Trusty Tools DSP that’s also a Level 1 gift with purchase.
