The Bottled Happiness Bundle makes a stunning vase of flowers

Isn’t this just the cutest card?

It’s actually very simple to make -so follow along as I talk you through how to make this card using the bottled happiness bundle.

You will need the following:

Thick basic white cardstock – 5½” x 8 ¼” – scored at 4 1/8″

Thick basic white cardstock – 5 3/8″ x 4″ -emboss this piece

DSP of choice – cut 5 1/8″ x 3 3/4″(1)

Contrast DSP – cut 5 ” x 3 5/8″ (1)

Basic white cardstock – 4 7/8″ x 3 ½”

Inks of choice – I used daffodil delight, flirty flamingo & melon mambo

Twine

Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes (158788)

Effervescent Elements (158789)

How to make your stunning vase of flowers

Glue your embossed cardstock onto your card base.

Then glue the larger of the DSP at an angle onto the embossed panel.

Repeat with the smaller DSP -at the opposite angle to the one above.

You will now have the small piece of basic white cardstock.

Using the punch in the bundle -punch out the position of the bottle.

I then placed this punched out cardstock onto my stamparatus -but you don’t need to use that, if you don’t have one.

Using the “lavender” like stamp -I stamped a whole range of the flowers in the ink colours above.

Once I was happy with the colours, I then peeled off the layer on the shaker dome.

Make sure you have the dome going to the outside of the card!!

Stick it in place and then turn your cardstock over.

Fill with the effervescent elements. I used about 2 pinches of the fingers.

I then actually placed the cardbase over the punched out section.

You can do that -it’s very tricky OR you can just place a piece of white cardstock over the dome.

If you do the second option -you won’t have the DSP showing through the dome.

Once that was all in place, I tied a bow using some twine and adhered it to the neck of the bottle using a gluedot.

I absolutely love this card design and I will be using this bundle at my next Stamp and Eat retreat on the 30th Sept.

Do you like this bundle?

Let me know your thoughts!

Until next time.
