I recently received the Planted Paradise stamp set for free.
One of the many benefits of being an independent Stampin’Up! demonstrator is attending demo only events.
And at the OnStage last year (I am getting used to saying this!), those attendees received the Planted Paradise stampset for free.
At first, I thought it was kind of boring.
But then I decided to pick it up and have a proper play with it.
I haven’t owned a reversible stamp set before -have you?
I was actually suitably impressed with all the different options that were available using this stamp set.
In the previous Annual Catalogue, we had a plant bundle.
And I was rather sad to see it retire -so this makes a nice alternative if you’re into plants.
Or you know someone who is.
This stamp set is unique in that there are no sentiments:
As you can see, the dark image and the design above/near to it are on the same stamp.
You just flip the stamp over to get the stamped image you desire.
It took a few attempts to get the hang of it, and then I was away!
This stamp set is very suitable for:
- Plant lovers
- Modern cards
- Simple stamping
- Beginner -Avid card makers
- Masculine cards
I used the following colours in my card:
- Blackberry Bliss
- Old Olive
- Copper Clay
- Bubble Bath
- Wild Wheat
Planted Paradise would be one of my “classic” stamp sets that I would hold onto for a long time.
If you’re wanting to add one onto your stash -you can shop here.
I will using this stamp set in a card class during February – so be sure to check out when my next card class is.
