OOPS A DAISY! Are you one of those people who always forgets something important? Do you find yourself scrambling to make up for lost time? If so, this blog post is for you!
Today, we’re featuring the Cheerful Daisy stamp set and the coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP). This gorgeous paper has a color-washed look that pairs perfectly with the two-step stamping technique used in the Cheerful Daisy stamp set.
What do you need to make this Oops a Daisy card?
For this project, I used a variety of colors including Pebbled Path, Boho Blue, Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay, and Lost Lagoon. The inside of the daisies were all stamped using Wild Wheat, while the petals were stamped using the other colors mentioned.
To add some interest to the card, I roughed up the edges of the DSP to create a border. This helped to break up the pattern and add some dimension to the card.

One thing to note about the DSP is that it has a color-washed look, which means that the look of this card is more rustic and “hand-made”. This is reflected in the two-step stamping technique used in the Cheerful Daisy stamp set. The images have a soft, watercolor feel to them, which is perfect for creating a relaxed and casual vibe.
Now, I know what you’re thinking, because at this point in my my blog I would usually say: “So what are you waiting for? Grab your supplies and get started today!” But I want to leave you with a different message. Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. We forget important things, we make mistakes, and we have to scramble to make up for lost time. But that’s okay. In fact, it’s more than okay. It’s human. So the next time you find yourself saying “Oops a daisy!” just remember that it’s all part of the journey. Embrace the imperfections and keep on crafting!
