This week in my Blog I want to share more Lovely & Sweet inspiration with you.
This stamp set is very diverse and you can use it with so many different techniques.
In this card, I used the Faux Water colour technique.
It’s the easiest thing to do to create a quick and striking background.
In this card I painted sideways with my paint brush, but you could also just create a solid stripe down on the side too.
The faux paint wash was done using Pecan Pie and hopefully you can see that the stamped image is heat embossed using gold metallic powder.
Last week on my YouTube channel, I did a live showing exactly how to create this card step by step.
It’s called Lovely & Sweet LIVE Tutorial.
If you’re wondering what paper I used in the background, I used the Natures Sweetness Designer Series Paper.
The gold looking trim is the brand new Gold Faux Leather Trim -just stunning!!!
The flowers were highlighted using an old retired Chalk pen in my stash.
But you could use White ink and a blender pen to achieve the same look.
I shared another project last week using the Lovely & Sweet Bundle -go check it out for even more inspiration!
