A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting a mid winter dinner.
This was no ordinary dinner either!
The dinner was held exclusively for those ladies who regularly attend my card classes every month.
And the reason behind the dinner was for their families to meet the rest of the crazies that attended class each other.
We had such a fabulous time together!
I am extremely grateful to our gracious hosts for having the dinner in their home.
Not only did they host MY mid winter dinner -but it was actually a 70th birthday for one of them!!
You may wonder what the big deal is about having a mid winter dinner.
Well, the big deal is that it’s all about community.
It’s the people
There is a saying here in New Zealand and I quote:
Māku e kii atu, he tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata.
What is the most important thing in the world?
Well, let me tell you, it is people, it is people, it is people.”
It’s with this vision to build a community of women by sharing my love of papercraft with them, that I’m passionate about creating these sort of events.
If you’re reading this and feeling left out because you’re living too far away -you can still feel a part of my community by
signing up to receive my weekly newsletters.
If you click on the link, you’ll not only immediately become part of the community -but you’ll also receive a FREE video tutorial from me.
That way, you get to see and hear from me.
I like to think of me sitting in your company and having a cup of tea!
So, I hope to see you join my community soon,
and IF you’re living near by -be sure to sign up for my classes and be on the guest list for our next dinner party!
Happy crafting!
