This Christmas – why not make your own gift bag and stand out from the crowd?
I don’t know about you -but sometimes I am so tired of mass produced things.
That’s probably why I bought a Cricut last year, and why I make cards.
Don’t get me wrong -I use mass produced brown paper packets every week.
But when it comes to gift giving – I really want to stand out from the crowd.
I think the wrapping is just as important as the actual gift.
This project was inspired by the very talented Ruth from Artful Stamping.
The technique is called the Smoosh technique -and as long as you have inkpads and a plastic sheet-you’re good to go.
I recently made a video the other day and that’s probably the easiest way to explain what you need to do.
So, without further ado -here’s the video for you to watch:
Let me know what you think of this technique – if you’ve tried this before or not.
Perhaps you haven’t made your own gift bag before, but you’ve tried smooshing?
I am including gift bags, tags and other Christmas decorations in my last few weeks to Christmas.
You can still sign up to my newsletters and added to the list.
Until next time,
Happy Crafting!
