I had so much fun using the Lovely & Sweet bundle to make this card.
I’m beginning to think that subconsciously my nail colour is affecting my choices of inks.
The reason I’m saying this, is when I look at the colour scheme I chose for this card it matches my nail colour!!
I’m not usually one that’s drawn to the Brights in the Stampin’ Up! family .
However, the Brights really work well for this project.
Last week I mentioned that I am seem to be going through a craze of using the Stampin’Up! write marker pens.
And as you can see -I’ve used them again in this project.
By drawing lines up and down the petals using the pens, it looks like I spent hours colouring them in.
The colours I chose for this project were early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie and Petal Pink.
The cocoa pods were coloured using Pecan Pie.
Basics 3D embossing folder in the background adds some subtle interest to the card.
Inspiration for this card came from The Crafty Carrot.
Is this a colour combination you’d consider using?
And what do you think of the Lovely & Sweet bundle?
Yeah or nah?
Until next time…happy crafting!
