Do you learn better through written instruction or video instruction?
How do you learn new things?
If you’re anything like me – I seem to learn new things by watching how it’s done.
I remember being at school during the 70s and the 80s.
Everything we learnt was mostly done via the textbooks and what the teacher wrote on the chalkboard with chalk.
I did ok at school – I can’t say I excelled at all.
Many decades later I re-trained in my mid 40’s -wow!!
What a difference 20+ years made in how information was gathered.
This time I was able to watch countless numbers of videos on Youtube.
I was able to attend webinars and seminars.
How I was learning new things was a completely different experience and I was loving it!
I am so mindful of this when I post project ideas of cards that I’ve made.
When I make cards or learn new things – I like to have the measurements in written format
But I also like to watch how the technique is done.
Unless of course I can figure out what the person has done to create the card.
So, when I’m posting projects I ask myself -how do you learn new things?
I hope that you find the posts helpful -sometimes I have a video for that project -but not always.
There are plenty of videos on my Youtube channel where I share many different techniques.
Have you liked and followed it yet?
I also teach regular card classes and you can find them on my calendar.
These will really help you learn new things.
The other place that you can join me where I teach you new things both in written format and visually is on retreat.
I am running another Stamp and Eat Retreat on the 30th September for the whole weekend.
Bookings close tomorrow Friday 16th September!!
Until next time!
