It’s that time of the year again -Happy Valentines Day everyone!
My grand daughter who will be turning 5 tomorrow was due on Valentines Day.
She decided she wanted her birthday to be uniquely her own .
So she waited a few minutes after midnight to arrive on the 15th!
Today is also a brand new Colour Inkspiration challenge -and the colours sort-of feel like Valentines Day.
It’s always fun to play with colour combinations that I wouldn’t usually put together.
This is my card contribution for this CK challenge – I loved using the hexagonal punch to offset the two circle diecuts.
The circles were die cut using the Everyday Details dies – I posted a Blog project featuring them.
The design of this card was inspired by the Too Cool Stamper – I love the simplicity of the design.
You can swap out any embossing folder for the background, any stamp and and circular die/punch.
As long as you create the rectangular strip, have two circles and a feature in the centre.
I’m excited to see what other combinations will be coming from the participants in this Colour Inkspiration challenge.
Happy crafting & Happy Valentines Day everyone!
