As you may know, I am on the Creative Team for the Colour Inkspiration challenges.
And it’s Colour Inkspiration’s 150th challenge this week!!
So, Happy Birthday Colour Inkspiration -woop woop!!!
The challenge was put to all the Crew to come up with their celebration combination.
Here are the challenge colours:

And this is what I designed for my Happy Birthday Colour Inkspiration card:

So, how did I create this card?
I used the Gorgeously Made Stamp set and Old Olive to stamp the leaves.
The tip was that I did second generation and then third generation stamping to achieve the softer look.
Then I used Pretty Peacock to create the splatter -and the splatter was from the Layering Leaves stampset.
Again, I used second and third generation to achieve the soft splatter.
Then I stamped the moth in versamark onto vellum.
I heat embossed it in gold.
I then used the remaining colours in my alcohol blending pens to colour in the reverse side of the moth.
You’re probably skimming through your catalogue right this minute trying to find that moth-right?
Well, it’s hidden away right at the back of the catalogue – as it’s a host reward.
I just love butterflies and moths – so I made sure my order was the minimum of NZ$300 to qualify to get it as a Stampin’ reward.
When I was thinking of a Happy Birthday sentiment, the one from the Something Fancy stamp set was perfect.
It was stamped straight onto the card in Pretty Peacock.
I choose Calypso Coral as the matte for my card front -and that was adhered onto a basic white card front.
I love how it has turned out – what do you think?
