Stampin’ Up!® have been my favourite supplier of papercraft for the past 15 years.
I fell in love with their colour ranges because they all co-ordinate.
With over 50 colours to choose from, it can be quite daunting!
So, I thought it might be fun to explore the 5 family colour groups and ask what is your favourite colour group?
The first group is called In-Colours -could this be your favourite colour group?
The In-Colour group is only around for 2 years.
These are colours that are usually trending all over the place in various other ways -you see these In Colours popping up in clothing, paint, wallpaper, interior design.
In fact I wrote all about this trend in an earlier blog post.
The second group is called the Neutral Collection
The Neutral Collection has by far many of my favourite colours.
Crumb Cake is my all time favourite neutral colour and features in many of my projects.
The third group is called the Brights Collection
The Brights are exactly what they say they are.
My favourite colours in this collection would have to be Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo.
Although I never thought I used the Brights Collection much – just looking at them here has made me realize just how many colours I like in this collection -who would’ve thought!
The Subtles Collection is the fourth group of colours -this is my favourite colour group
Oh my goodness – how do I even choose a favourite from this group?
The Subtles collection -all of them – are my favourites.
Nope – I’m not choosing one here!
The final collection is called the Regals
Stately colours with a beautiful depth to them.
In this collection, Old Olive wins hands down for me.
So, what is your favourite colour group?
Or would you rather not choose one above the other?
Stampin’ Up! make it easy to trial out the colour collections on page 126 of the Annual Catalogue – you can have a look here.
I’d love to hear your favourite colour -drop a comment below!
Until next time!
