I am mostly about pink -in my clothes, my cards and of course my branding! But I love the earth and all its earthy goodness.
My natural choice of interior design always seems to gravate towards linen, baskets, coir and earthy colours.
So, while this card may appear to be a little different and there’s zero pink in it -there’s still a lot of me in this card.
I’ve also slightly CASE’d the card in the catalogue.
I say slightly-because I made my own pot using 2 dies.
That little hack will be explained a little further down in this post.
For this card, I used the entire Earthen Elegance suite on pg 70 of the AC.
The colours I used were Pretty Peacock for the card base.
I also used Pebble Path and Copper Clay for the stamping.
How to create your earthen goodness

Two of the pots were die cut from the Designer Series Paper -by strategically placing the dies over a specific area of the paper.
The middle pot was created in the following way:
- Firstly, I also cut the pot using the large die and DSP
- I then took the smaller pot die and placed the base of the die over where I wanted the pot to end
- Then I partially die cut the pot-so that the top of the pot was still the original pot
- I then stamped the design using copper clay
Pretty easy when you know how!!
The other dimension to add some real earth goodness was done by shredding the ribbon/twine.
I pulled the pieces of the linen apart and then tied it into sort of a bow.
The embellishments were extra- you can of course leave that out too.
Oh and the pretty peacock background was a piece of DSP from the suite that I embossed with the exposed Brick 3-D folder.
I hope this inspires you to grab this suite and have fun using it!!
I have also used this suite in this card:
