CK #158

Jan 10, 2024

Holidays are over and the Colour Inkspiration Team are back in swing with CK #158 challenge.

Recently I heard the lovely news from one of my customers that she became another grandchild richer on Christmas Day.

I couldn’t wait to whip up this adorable card for her and her extended family!

It’s always so handy to have a New Baby stampset in your stash for these sort of occassions.

It’s not like you know when you’re going to need it -babies have the habit of arriving when the time is right:)

So, it was a great opportunity to make use of this Cradled in Love set and use the CK #158 colours to create it.

CK #158

As you can see the colours are very much in the pastel range -which tend to be ones I love using.

The Cradled with Love stamp set is a Level 1 gift you can earn for free with a qualifying purchase of NZ$110 excl shipping/handling.

How I made the CK #158 card

Instead of using inkpads for this image, I coloured everything in using my Stampin’Write Markers in the CK colours.

I just felt like doing something different for a change.

I don’t know about you -but that Petal Pink has two personalities!!

The ink that I used to colour the cradle doesn’t quite look like the ribbon -and they’re supposed to be the same colour!

It’s an interesting colour for sure.

The die that I used to create the frame is the new Perennial Postage die and the cute heart embellishments come from the Bee Mine suite.

I hope I’ve done this colour challenge justice – and that my friend likes her new card celebrating her grandchild.

Why not consider taking part in the challenge?
