CK #156 colours look just like Christmas!
I wanted to create a card with an existing stamp set that I had.
I think it’s important to showcase stamps in different ways -so I hope I achieved that for this card.
As you can see the colours for this challenge are very Christmas-y.
This is what I’ve come up with for my design:
I chose to use Botanical Layers as my featured stamp set.
The leaves were stamped in Shaded Spruce and I added the medium sized blossoms in the Real Red.
I cut the panel on the right out of Real Red cardstock and then I used Versamark to stamp the flower blossoms over the cardstock. Hopefully you can see that in the image below:
I made a few stamping booboos on the left hand side – there was that irritating halo that can sometimes happen with cling stamps.
But never mind, I just stuck some black/white gingham ribbon over it and it looked right at home!
The Merry Christmas came from the Stars at Night stampset and was stamped in Black Memento ink.
Placing the golf trim underneath the sentiment added some bling and then black dots here, created some interest.
I am very happy with how this card turned out for the CK #156 challenge.
If you’d like to make some cards of your own and need to grab supplies -I would greatly appreciate your support by shopping online with me.
