It’s not too long now before the mini catalogues goes live!
And one of the hidden gems in there is the Abundant Beauty Mask.
There are several projects going around featuring this gorgeous mask.
So, I decided to use one of the less shown masks -the leaves.
I took my inspiration from Nature around me.
At the moment, we’re coming to the end of Winter and heading into Spring.
All around me, I am seeing the most beautiful pink blossoms popping up everywhere.
So, I decided to combine two colors that shout Spring to me -Soft Sea Foam and Blackberry Bliss.
Card requirements
- Soft Sea Foam cut(1) -5½” x 8¼”, score at 4 1/8″ on long side
- Soft Sea Foam cut (1) – 5½” x 3 7/8″ (mask layer)
- Basic white cardstock cut(1) -5½” x 3½” (card front) plus scraps
- Layering leaves Stampset
- Abundant Beauty Mask
- Soft Sea Foam Inkpad
- Blackberry Bliss Inkpad
- Blending Brushes
- Ribbon Duo Combo Pack
- Basic Pearls
- Masking Paper
Use the soft sea foam ink and mask – create the background on the mask layer.
Using the card front, mask off the top and bottom areas.
Gently blend layers of soft sea foam and blackberry bliss.
Once you’re satisfied, stamp your images in blackberry bliss.
Now peel off your masking paper.
Stamp your chosen sentiment.
Die cut some tall flowers out of basic white.
Adhere these down.
Add a ribbon of your choice.
Add some embellishments.
Now glue this layer over the masked layer.
I love how the combination of the Soft Sea Foam and Blackberry Bliss creates a beautiful Spring feel.
