I love a traditional Christmas Card.
In this card, it’s pretty easy to achieve this manger scene by combining clever background paper and the great dies.

Christmas cards for me need to be about Jesus -I’m not into Santa.
So, if you’re like me and looking for a stamp set and die that REALLY is Christmas -don’t overlook the Night Divine Bundle.
The stamps have the most beautiful sentiments like O Holy Night, Glory to God in the Highest and more.
And to re-enforce the traditional Christmas card feel -the dies are all about the manger scene (sigh!).
Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, camels, animals – they’re all there for you to die cut in whatever colour takes your fancy.
In this card, I cut out 3 manger scenes in different colours and then snipped them with my paper snips.
I then glued them together and re-created the scene using different colours for interest.
The background was simply a piece of DSP from the O Holy Night 12″x 12″ DSP that I cut to match my cardbase exactly.
It’s a very, very easy card to make and would suit a young person too -making this an ideal craft project to do together.
On the 9th September, I will be teaching another card using this bundle.
