If you need to create a card quickly-then a SIP card is what you’re after.
SIP stands for Stamp Ink Paper.
In this card, I used the gorgeous new Designer Series Paper -Countryside Inn.
These papers are currently on a sale of 15% off the full retail price until the 30th June 2023.
You can shop in my online store for them here.
For this SIP card, I used Night of Navy cardstock for my base.
I cut the DSP strips into 1″x 4″ and cut 5 different patterns.
Then for the white leaf effect -I die cut that from the Artistically Inked Die.
I had warned you that I was going to spam you with that set!!!
I wanted to show you a different look using the same die.
Otherwise -you may just think they’re used in one way.
Anyway, back to this card.
The sentiment was heat embossed using white embossing powder.
I like to make a stash of these SIP cards, so that I have them for “emergency” card days.
You could of course change the sentiment -and add Happy Birthday, Thinking of You or even Thank You.
I think it’s a very good idea to always have a few of those cards on hand.
What do you think of this paper?
And how would you use it on a project?
I used the same DSP on this project -and as you can see, it pairs so well with Sweet Sorbet.
I have seen these papers used in so many different way -and I think they would make gorgeous 3D projects!
Let me know what you think of these papers and perhaps share what you’ve done with yours.
Happy crafting!
